19 arrested drug dealers and cocaine suppliers in Italy

They peddled kilos of cocaine in the “Palazzi” of the Sant’Eusebio district of Cinisello Balsamo (Milan), and were always well supplied with goods, which arrived regularly from Holland and other European countries, transported by the couriers of another criminal group.

Both organizations were the subject of the investigation concluded today by the Milanese mobile squad and the Central Operations Service (Sco). This morning the operation that led the policemen, coordinated by the District Anti-Mafia Directorate, to arrest drug dealers and suppliers began.

The precautionary custody orders, issued by the judge for the preliminary investigations of the Court of Milan, were twelve: ten people were arrested in Milan, Lodi, Pescara and Foggia, while two measures were carried out in Albania thanks to the collaboration of the international police cooperation and the Criminal Police Department and Interpol of Tirana. Numerous searches were also carried out against suspects and people connected to them.

Between the two criminal groups, the Italian citizen drug dealers and the Albanian nationality suppliers, several drug exchanges were documented, and, in the course of the investigation, the policemen carried out a further seven arrests in the act of crime and seized over ten kilos of cocaine. .

Investigators, in particular, shed light on the drug dealers’ organization, structured like a real company, with regular shifts for drug dealers, custodians, dose packers and lookouts.

It also emerged that the huge earnings generated by the illicit activity, about 10 thousand euros net per day, over time resulted in various frictions between the top management of the organization, regarding the distribution of remuneration and the division of power; disagreements, at times, resulted in armed attacks.
