19 Indians who crossed the border illegally supported by a Romanian citizen, found on the border with Serbia

The border guards from the Cruceni Border Police Sector found, in an action on the line of illegal migration, several citizens of India who crossed the border from Serbia to Romania illegally. The driver who would – and carried in Timisoara is being investigated for the offense of trafficking in migrants being detained for 24 hours and will be submitted to the court with the proposal of preventive arrest.

There were nineteen people , foreign nationals, all men, four of whom were in the car as passengers and a group of fifteen other citizens parked on the side of the road. They were to travel in the same car.

During the checks, it was established that the persons in question are citizens of India, aged between 18 and 39, and have illegally crossed the border from Serbia to Romania, on foot, on the green border. The driver of the car, a 32-year-old man, living in Caraş-Severin County, stated that he intended to help the nineteen to get to Timişoara.
