65 foreign nationals were found hidden in two road complexes  

At the Nădlac II Border Crossing Point, the border policemen carried out the control on two road complex registered in Romania, respectively Bulgaria, led by a Romanian and a Bulgarian citizen. According to the documents accompanying the goods, the drivers were carrying PVC carpentry and tires for companies in the Netherlands and Italy.

Following the thorough control of the means of transport, a total of 65 foreign nationals were discovered, hidden in semi-trailers, among the transported goods.

The people were picked up and transported to the headquarters of the sector for research. Preliminary checks revealed that they were nationals of India, Pakistan, Iraq and Turkey and intended to fraudulently arrive in a Schengen area.

Next, the border guards carry out investigations in order to establish the criminal activity, and the necessary legal measures will be ordered upon completion.
