Border guards found Belarusian cigarettes hidden under rubble in a freight train

On Wednesday morning, the officers of the State Border Guard Service (SBGS) together with the employees of the Security and Risk Management Department of AB Lietuvos Geležinkeliai inspected a freight train arriving from Belarus at the Vilnius railway station.

27 polyethylene-wrapped cardboard boxes were found in one wagon of the train. They were covered by rubble brought from a neighboring state. A total of 13,500 packets of Fest excise cigarettes were found in the boxes.

The value of such cargo in Lithuania is almost 47 thousand euros.
