Almost half a ton of sexual stimulants instead of declared liquid soap were detained by the customs officials

During a physical inspection of a truck, customs inspectors discovered the contraband of 22 cartons (1,903 boxes) of sexual potency preparations with a total weight of 450 kg.

On November 15, 2022, around 10 p.m., in the area of The “Danube Bridge 2 Vidin-Kalafat” border checkpoint, a truck leaving the country, driven by a Bulgarian citizen, was stopped for inspection. The vehicle is moving with groupage goods from Bulgaria to Germany. During the physical inspection, the customs officials found, instead of the declared liquid soap, two foil-wrapped pallets with sexual stimulants from Turkey and Malaysia. Their total number is 22 cartons or 1,903 boxes (22,836 sachets) with a total weight of 450 kg. The preparations are withheld. In this case, a subsequent check is to be carried out to establish the status of the goods.
