Financial guards inspected a Turkish truck transporting smoked trout fillets to Röszke to Germany.
On the x-rays, the investigators noticed several boxes packed in a different way from the cargo. Opening the cargo hold, behind the trout fillets, a total of 3,000 boxes of untaxed cigarettes were found in cardboard boxes by financiers.
The untaxed incense worth more than HUF 5 million was seized by NAV employees. In addition to imposing a fine in excess of HUF 10 million, the financiers filed a complaint against the driver for budget fraud.
