Cigarettes found in railway carriage chassis

Cigarettes without Polish excise duty were found in the structural elements of the freight train by officers from the Nadbużański Border Guard Department and the Lublin Customs and Tax Service.

Officers from the Border Guard Post in Terespol and the Customs and Tax Service inspected a freight train (several dozen wagons) going from Belarus to Poland.

Cigarettes were found in the center frame of one of the platforms. Interrogated by the officers, the train driver did not admit to smuggling. The Lublin Customs and Tax Office in Biała Podlaska is responsible for determining the circumstances of the case.
