Eighteen migrants, stop at Romania’s western border

border guards from the Nădlac II Border Crossing Point found, near the border line, in the area adjacent to the freight terminal on the way out of the country, ten people walking to the border with the neighbouring state. As they did not justify their presence in the area, they were taken to the sector headquarters for checks.

The research established that most of the asylum seekers in our country are citizens of Afghanistan, aged between 15 and 22.

The border police officers from the Curtici Border Police Sector also found, following the actions carried out on 04.11.2021, in the terminal within the CFR Curtici station, two groups of migrants consisting of eight people.

Research has established that citizens of Bangladesh, Pakistan and Afghanistan, aged between 16 and 35, are mostly asylum seekers in our country.
