Fifteen migrants hidden in trucks, found in 24 hours, on the border with Hungary

a Romanian citizen, driving a road set up registered in Romania, showed up to carry out the border formalities, on the way out of the country. It transports, according to the documents accompanying the goods, motor oil on the Romania-Slovakia route.

Following the thorough control of the means of transport, four foreign nationals were discovered hidden in the cargo compartment .

The people were taken and transported to the headquarters of the sector for investigations where, following the verifications, the border police established that they are citizens of Afghanistan, aged between 16 and 18 years.

Similar actions took place yesterday at the Nădlac II Border Crossing Point , where the border policemen carried out the detailed control over two road complexes, led by two Romanian citizens. According to the documents accompanying the goods, they were transporting car and car parts for companies in Germany and Italy.

During the checks, the border guards discovered, hidden among the transported goods and in the cars on the platform of the semi-trailer, eleven  people. During the research, our colleagues established that the people in question are citizens of Afghanistan, India and Bangladesh, aged between 18 and 35, asylum seekers in Romania.
