Greek Diver Recovers Cocaine Smuggled in Ship’s Hull

Hellenic Coast Guard have released a video of the detection and seizure of 46 kilos and 710 grams of cocaine hidden behind an underwater grate in the hull of a bulk carrier in the port of Corinth.

Greek authorities targeted a 24,350 dwt bulk carrier loaded 22,500 metric tons of soybeans, the Skyros, based on tip offs from the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration.

The police have detained the 23 members of the crew and are interviewing them.
