Large-scale deployment of the federal police to combat commercial smuggling and commercial document forgery

Germany’s Federal police officers are currently executing search warrants on behalf of the Hanover public prosecutor in the federal states of Lower Saxony, Hamburg, North Rhine-Westphalia, Thuringia and Baden-Württemberg.

The police measures are directed against a group of perpetrators on suspicion of the commercial smuggling of foreigners and the commercial forgery of documents.
