Lithuanian State Border Guard Service (SBGS) will be able to prevent illegal border crossing and smuggling even more effectively

The company Fima helped to create more efficient working conditions for the officials by upgrading the video surveillance equipment monitoring the border section with Belarus.

In the 25.1 km section of Padvarionys border, a complex system of detection and video surveillance of border violations was modernized, which, taking into account the peculiarities of the area, detects and captures objects crossing or approaching the state border in any weather conditions, allows them to be visually monitored and transmits all information to the control center in the firewall.

A border surveillance system consisting of 70 night and 105 day vision video cameras, which are mounted on 70 towers and supports standing in the Padvarioniai firewall section and at the Medininkai border checkpoint.

During the implementation of the project, new workplace equipment, new monitors for video surveillance, changed servers and recording devices, new software were installed, and uninterruptible power supply equipment was updated.
