More than 1,500 kg of cocaine seized in the town of Sanlúcar de Guadiana

The Spanish Civil Guard has seized 55 burlap bales, which contained 1,580 kg of cocaine. The seizure occurred when a person called the Civil Guard, alerting them to the presence of several people and vehicles that could be trafficking drugs in the municipality of Sanlúcar de Guadiana.

For this reason, several Civil Guard patrols were dispatched to the scene, at which point the vehicles fled, being intercepted later and their occupants fleeing.

When the agents proceeded to inspect the interior of the vehicles, they found 55 burlap bales containing cocaine inside one of them. Once the drugs were weighed, they found a total weight of 1,580 kg of cocaine.

This action was carried out thanks to citizen collaboration.
