Over 1,400 counterfeit clothing items were discovered by Romanian border guards
On 01.12.2021, Romanian border police officers from PTF Giurgiu carried out an inspection of a van, driven by a 53-year-old Bulgarian citizen.
On this occasion, among the driver’s luggage, several bulky packages, which contained 1,427 items of clothing. The goods were marked with well-known marks, with suspicions of counterfeiting.
During the checks, it was established that those products belonged to the driver of the van.
The goods, worth about 194,000 lei if they had been sold as branded products, were seized in order to continue the investigation.
