Polish Border Guard seized over 33 kilograms of drugs

Three residents of Koszalin were detained for the case. They are threatened with up to 12 years imprisonment.

Officers of the Marine Border Guard Unit searched one of the apartments in Koszalin. They found large amounts of marijuana, amphetamines and several thousand ecstasy tablets (MDMA) hidden in it. Additionally, the officers seized over 15,000 smuggled cigarettes. Their value is approximately PLN 11,000. Three men, inhabitants of Koszalin, were arrested during the operations. Two of them (28 and 29 years old) were arrested for three months by a court decision. They are threatened with up to 12 years imprisonment. The third detainee was released. In total, over 33 kilograms of drugs were secured, the value of which is estimated at almost PLN 2 million.

The investigation is being carried out by officers from the Maritime Department of the Border Guard under the supervision of the District Prosecutor’s Office in Koszalin.
