Polish Maritime Border Guard Division receive intervention and pursuit vessels of the Border Guard

Almost 16 meters in length and 20 tons displacement, 1600 KM of power, range of 300 nautical miles. They reach speeds of 42 knots, or almost 80 km / h. The crew consists of four officers. For over a dozen years they have been protecting Poland’s maritime border, nearly 400 km long, and ensuring safety in the Baltic Sea.

Four fast patrol ships are in service in the Maritime Border Guard Division: Kashubian in Gdańsk and Pomeranian in Świnoujście. They control ships and intervene in the event of illegal border crossing. They take part in search and rescue operations and also counteract illegal fishing and pollution of the marine environment.
