Romanian guide arrested on remand for transporting fourteen foreign nationals

Border police from the Romanian Deta Border Police Sector stopped a Dacia MCV car registered in Romania, driven by a Romanian citizen. In the car were observed, as passengers, 14 foreign citizens, all men.

The border police took the foreign citizens, as well as the driver to the headquarters of the institution for investigations, where they were epidemiologically sorted by the medical crew who arrived on the spot.

During the checks, it was established that the passengers are citizens of Turkey and Afghanistan, aged between 18 and 27, and the driver of the car, a 28-year-old man, domiciled in Timiş County. The latter said he intended to help the 14 foreign nationals get to the city of Lugoj.
