Seven Border Violators and Romanian Human Trafficker Stopped

During an inspection of a minibus, seven illegal migrants were found by Hungarian and Romanian police in Csanádpalota. The Romanian authorities are acting on the matter.

The vehicle of Romanian nationality was checked jointly by the Hungarian and Romanian police at the Csanádpalota Motorway border crossing. The search found that seven people were hiding in a hiding place in the trunk. The men declared themselves to be Egyptian citizens. Illegal migrants could not credibly prove their identity or the legality of their stay in Hungary.
