Sri Lankans tried to illegally enter Lithuania

Half a kilometer from the state border, the Smorgon border guards detained three violators. Unknown persons were on their way to Lithuania.

The incident took place on the night of April 10-11. The Molodechnenskaya frontier post has received information about the triggering of the alarm system. The alarm group immediately set about searching for the unknown. With the help of a service dog, the border guards found traces of the violators. Soon, the border guard detained three young people who did not have documents. The guys introduced themselves as citizens of Sri Lanka and admitted that they were heading to the EU countries for a better life.
