Ten adults and twelve children crossed the Danube from Serbia in an inflatable boat

Border guards from the Border Police Sector Iron Gates II found twenty-two citizens from Iraq and Afghanistan, who crossed the Danube river with the help of a boat, to enter Romania from Serbia illegally.

Immediately, the persons in question were taken to the headquarters of the sector for verifications, where their epidemiological triage was performed.

During the first checks, the border guards determined that the people in question were citizens of Iraq and Afghanistan, ten adults, aged between 24 and 57, and twelve children, aged between 18 months and 15 years .

Also in the investigation, foreign nationals said they crossed the border into Serbia with an inflatable motor boat driven by one of them.
