Two traffickers with illegal immigrants detained in Elhovo Border Police RD after persecution

In the Bulgarian border area a driver of an Opel car did not obey a sound and light signal to stop by a patrol of the Bolyarovo GPU. With the assistance of ODMVR-Yambol the car was located and stopped on the territory of the regional town. Illegal migrants and two smugglers (Bulgarian and foreigner) were found in it. All of them have been detained, and fast-track proceedings have been instituted against the migrants under Art. 279. Pre-trial proceedings have been instituted in the case under Article 281 of the Penal Code, the work on which continues under the supervision of the district prosecutor’s office.
