Ukrainian Border Guards Seized Cigarettes Worth More Than 130 Thousand Hryvnias From Illegal Circulation In Donetsk Region

Border guards, together with other units from the Joint Forces, continue systematic measures to counteract the illegal circulation of excisable goods.

In particular, yesterday a joint interdepartmental group consisting of border guards of Kramatorsk detachment, representatives of the SSU and the National Guard, as well as the National Police and the State Fiscal Service successfully implemented another advance information of operatives of the State Border Service of Ukraine.

According to the results of an inspection of several retail outlets in the cities of Kramatorsk and Slaviansk, Donetsk region, law enforcement officers seized more than 2.2 thousand packs of cigarettes without excise tax stamps for a total amount of more than 130 thousand hryvnias from illegal circulation.
