Ukrainian Border Guards stop an attempt to smuggle a drug across the state border using a quadcopter

Near Milove, the borderguards from Luhansk border guard detachment stopped an attempt to smuggle a drug-like substance across the state border while performing tasks as part of the Joint Forces.

This time the smugglers tried to move the goods across the border from Ukraine to Russia, probably, with the help of a quadcopter, to avoid traces at the border.

Thus, while patrolling the section of the state border near Milove, the border patrol found a quadcopter and two packages. They were near the Ukrainian-Russian border. The packages contained briquettes with a grey-green substance of plant origin, as well as bottles with an unknown liquid.

The quadcopter and the detected substances were handed over to the National Police for examination.

Border guards sent a message to Milove police department about the detection of signs of a criminal offense.

Measures are being taken to establish all the circumstances of the case and persons involved up to the illegal activities.
