A 44-year-old Turkish citizen showed up to enter the country at the wheel of a truck. According to the documents accompanying the goods, it was transporting thermal power plants from Turkey to Hungary.
Following the preliminary checks carried out, our colleagues found that the insurance cord of the semi-trailer allowed the tarpaulin to be opened, without damaging the customs seal, which is why they ordered a thorough inspection of the means of transport.
Thus, two males were discovered in the cargo compartment of the truck, hidden in plastic bags and wrapped in aluminum foil.
Investigations revealed that the two young men, aged 24 and 28, respectively, are from Syria and Palestine and got into the truck when they were on Turkish territory, without the driver’s consent. They told the authorities that they intended to reach Germany.
