US Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) handed over mobile surveillance systems to the MoIA Border Police of Georgia

The US Embassy’s Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) handed over mobile surveillance systems to the MoIA Border Police of Georgia to further enhance border management and protection capabilities.

The ceremony was held at the base of Operational-Technical Agency of the State Security Service of Georgia. Colonel Nikoloz Sharadze, the Acting Head of the Border Police, attended the ceremony and personally got acquainted with the capabilities and features of the donated equipment.

Mobile surveillance systems will significantly enhance border control, thus improving border police’s capability to detect and prevent illegal acts.
